Eligibility

  • Applicants for the JKPSC must be permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • To prepare for the JKPSC test, the candidate must be over the age of 21 and under the age of 35.
  • SC, ST, and OBC applicants can be up to 37 years old.
  • To be eligible for the JKPSC test, candidates must have completed their graduation in any stream from an acknowledged university.
  • Number of tries: The candidate would be able to take the KAS exam just six times. Candidates from specific categories are given more chances by the commission: EWS (6 attempts), RBA/Social Caste & actual line of control/ PwD (9 attempts), SC/ST (till the age limit)
