Admission

The University provides various programmes in a variety of subjects. Admission to all of these programmes is done online through the University's official website. Candidates that meet the eligibility requirements can apply for the programme.

The admissions procedure for SGBAU is as follows:

  • Go to the SGBAU's official website.
  • Navigate to the ‘SGBAU Admission Entrance Exam' link.
  • Read the notification to see if you are eligible.
  • Select the “Apply Online” option and fill out all of the needed information on the form.
  • Upload all necessary paperwork.
  • Fill out and submit the application.
  • Print the page for future reference.

SGBAU Eligibility Criteria

Courses Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Courses For BTech - JEE Main/ MHT CET scores are considered
For B.Arch - JEE Main/ NATA scores are considered for admission
For BA LLB - MH CET Law test scores are required
For B.P.ED / B.Ed. – MAH CET Score is required
For remaining UG programmes - Admission is done on merit
Post-graduate Courses For MTech - GATE/ GPAT scores are considered
For LLM - MH CET Law test score
For MBA - CAT/ MAT/ MAH CET/ CMAT / XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ exams scores are considered
For M.Ed - MAH CET scores are required.
For remaining PG programmes - Admission is done on merit
MPhil and PhD Course For MPhil/ PhD- Entrance Test (MPET) by SGBAU is considered
Candidates who have obtained a master's degree in the relevant field are eligible to apply for the PhD programme.
Other Courses For Diploma, PG Diploma and certificate - based on merit. 
Candidates who have completed Class 12th may apply for any of the diploma programmes.
Candidates who have completed Graduation may apply for any of the PG diploma programmes.
