Application Process

  • To fill the application form of UPSC IES applicants need to visit the official website 
  • From the homepage, click on the online Application for multiple UPSC examinations
  • Select the New Users option
  • A new window will open, fill in the personal details for registration
  • Enter login credentials and fill other required information
  • Pay the application fees i.e. Rupees 200
  • Submit the application form

 

Selection Process of IES Exam:

The selection process of IES will be based on the three stages. First applicants need to clear Prelims as well as the Mains exam. Only applicants who clear the Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams of the Prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the Mains exam.
Applicants who obtain the required marks in the Prelims and Mains exam will participate in the IES Personality test.

Ans:
Both IAS and IES exams are the toughest exams and need extensive preparation. 

 

Ques: How many times a candidate can apply for the IES exam?
Ans:
There is no limitation to apply for the IES exam. Only applicants must be under the age limit criteria as decided by the authority.

 

Ques: Can Computer Science students eligible for the IES exam?
Ans:
Yes, applicants who have computer science degree can apply for this exam, but they need to select the engineering branch to appear in the exam.

 

Ques: IS there any physical test for the IES exam?
Ans:
No, there is no physical test in the IES exam. Applicants only need to clear Prelims, Mains and Interview to get selected in the exam.
