Every year, Adikavi Nannaya University holds the Adikavi Nannaya University Common Entrance Test (AKNUCET/NANNAYACET), a University Level Entrance Test for admissions to various Post-Graduation Courses provided by the university. Eligibility

Before submitting an application, candidates should review the qualifying conditions established by the organizing authorities for the AKNUCET test. The requirements are set by the board of Adikavi Nannaya University. The criteria for eligibility qualifying for the ANUCET are mentioned below:

  • Each subject has its own set of qualifying requirements.
  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or who are about to take their final semester test are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates from other universities acknowledged by either state/ central government would be eligible for admission if they hold a 3-year Bachelor Degree in the 12+3 / 10+2+3 / 11+1+3 pattern with the requisite minimum percentage of marks by AKNU.
  • Candidates who have obtained an Undergraduate degree through online education without following the 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission with the provision of a domicile certificate.
  • Bachelor's degrees in B.Sc./B.A./B.Com/B.Litt. and B.L from universities other than those in Andhra Pradesh are accepted if they are acknowledged by the government.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Group Subjects (Part II) to be admitted to all M.Ed. / Arts/ Science and engineering programmes. A minimum aggregate of 45 percent in group subjects (Part II) is required for SC/ST applicants.
  • Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements must be at least 21 years of age or more. There is no higher age limit indicated.

Syllabus

There is no predefined syllabus for AKNUCET. According to the current trend, the syllabus will be the appropriate undergraduate course that the candidate has already finished. Each topic has a separate curriculum, and each subject has a different test. There will be a total of eight question papers for various assessments depending on Courses: Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Humanities, Geology, and Social Sciences, Telugu & English.

Exam Pattern

AKNUCET is held offline and consists of objective-type questions. Negative marking is not permitted in the exam. Every candidate must pass the AKNUCET test in order to participate in the admissions process.

The design of the question paper differs depending on the course chosen. There is no set pattern for question papers, although they are often based on the following points:

  • Each subject's question paper has 100 multiple-choice questions.
  • The max. no. of points will be 100.
  • The test takes a total of 90 minutes.
  • Except for the Telugu test, which will be administered in Telugu, all questions will be asked in English.
  • There will be a total of eight question papers for various assessments depending on Courses: Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Geology, Telugu and English.

Exam Paper

  • For the admission test, the university exclusively offers an offline version (paper pen-based). The applicant completes the OMR sheet by answering the questions. The applicant only uses a black and blue pen to complete the paper. The AKNUCET test contains just 100 multiple-choice questions, which the applicant must answer in 1 hour and 30 minutes. The admission test is administered in both English and Telugu. Each solution receives one point from the institution.

  • Adikavi Nannaya University's AKNUCET is a university-level admission exam for students interested in postgraduate Science and Arts programmes. The test will have a distinct format and syllabus for each programme.  Students can get assistance from their particular course texts and practise questions from prior years' papers. Exam Application Process

The application form is usually available online. Fill out all of the fields correctly during registration since they cannot be changed afterward. Incomplete forms will also be rejected. 

Steps to Apply:

  • Go to the website and find the link to the application form and fill out the required information. After registering, you will be given a registration number and a password.
  • After submitting the information, access and fill out the application form with all of your personal, academic, and other information.
  • Verify that all of the information entered is correct before proceeding to the next step in the fee payment process.
  • The application fee must be paid online only (through debit/credit card or net banking).
  • For future reference, print the completed application form created following fee payment.

Selection Process:

AKNUCET Exam Results are published on the website for all category applicants based on qualifying marks.

  • The candidates' results are published on the website in the form of a rank card. You will only be able to download the Rank Card from the website. The results will not be disclosed to any candidates in person or by mail.
  • All candidates who took the Entrance Test will be assigned AKNUCET exam-wise ranks based on their performance in the test.
  • If two or more candidates receive equal or identical marks, the elder candidate will be given priority.

Following the announcement of the results, qualified applicants are invited to the AKNUCET Counselling. The AKNUCET Counselling takes place immediately after the results are announced based on the merit list. The AKNUCET Counselling is done based on the AKNUCET Rank and Score. You will be required to attend the Document Verification Process if your name is on the merit list. You will be assigned to selected courses and universities based on your grades.

Cut Off:

  • The cut-off will be the minimal number of points required for applicants to qualify for the test. The AKNUCET cut-off will be determined by a number of elements, including the number of applicants, the number of candidates' marks in the test, the difficulty level of the examination, and much more.

Exam Center

Candidates can indicate their exam centre option on the Application Form. Candidates will be assigned a test centre based on their preferences. Once the exam centre has been assigned to the applicants, no requests for a change of location will be considered. The admission/admit card will provide information about the exam centre. Admit Card

Candidates can get their AKNUCET to admit card from the website by entering their Application Number and DOB, and they must present it to the test venue. The AKNUCET Admit Card is created only when the Application Form has been successfully submitted.

Steps to download Admit Card:

  • Go to the website and click the 'Download Admit Card' button.
  • After providing the application number and DOB, click 'Submit.'
  • On the screen will be displayed the admit card.
  • Carefully review the admissions information on the card.
  • To obtain the admission card, click the 'Download' button.
  • Obtain a copy for future reference

Yes, the authorities would supply a correctional institution within a few days of application filing.
