Admission

Admission to IIT, Kharagpur is all based on the entrance exam and merit list. A candidate who wishes to apply for IIT, Kharagpur has to go through this process:

Eligibility:
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur offers programs like UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs. M.Tech/MCP-PhD: Candidate who wishes to enroll for this program has to clear GATE exam along with it candidate has to clear UG degree in engineering, technology, architecture, or masters degree in science, arts. 

MBA: Candidate who wishes to enroll for MBA program has to clear CAT exams and have UG degree of 4 years in the field of engineering, technology, pharmacy, medical, or similar disciplines else, masters degree in science, economics, commerce(with math) and at least score 60%. 

Ph.D.: Candidate who wishes to apply for Ph.D. programs has to clear internal written exams, along with it candidate has to clear masters with 70%
