Introduction

Govt. Mohindra College is one of the oldest institutions in Patiala which was established during the year 1875 by H. H. Maharaja Mohinder Singh. During 1875, the College was affiliated to the Calcutta University. The college imparted free education to for girl child till she completes her graduation. The College was awarded the A+ Grade by the ‘NAAC’ in April 2003 and 2016 and has even scored highest among all colleges. It provides undergraduate and post graduate courses in different fields of Arts, Commerce and Science. Ragging policies of this college are very strict and ensures that nobody gets bullied here.
