The CENTAC exam known as the Centralized Admission Committee it is located in Puducherry.It is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted to offer admission into various courses such as B. Eligibility

Applicants should read the below eligibility criteria before applying for the CENTAC exam:
Nationality Criteria: Candidates must have citizenship of India 
Applicants who belong to the Puducherry state can apply for this CENTAC exam.

For B.P.T./BDS/ B.V.Sc./ A.H/ MBBS program

  • Applicants must have complete the (10+2) intermediate exam from a recognized board 
  • Candidates should have Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology or Biology, Zoology/ Botany and English as compulsory subjects
  • Applicants required 50% of aggregate marks while 40% were required for the reserved category

For B. Tech Program

  • Applicants must need to be completed (10+2) or Intermediate exam from the recognized board
  • Applicants should have Biology/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology along with Chemistry and Physics as mandatory subjects.
  • They should also have minimum 45% aggregate marks while 40% required for reserved categories

Exam Application Process

The CENTAC application form will be available through only online mode

  • Only those applicants can fill the application form who fulfill the CENTAC eligibility criteria
  • It is advisable that applicants must have to fill their application form till fourth week of June 2022
  • It is advisable that applicants should need to fill their application form very carefully
  • The details filled by the applicant’s in their CENTAC application form will be same in their mark sheet

 

Application fee of CENTAC Exam:

  • The CENTAC application fee reserved category, for 1 course will be Rupees 300
  • The CENTAC application fee for the general categories, for only 1 course will be Rupees 600.
  • The CENTAC application fee for the ST/ SC categories for three courses will be Rupees 600
  • The CENTAC application fee for 2 courses will be Rupees 450for ST/ SC category applicants
  • The CENTAC for two-course will be Rupees 900application fee for general category candidates
  • The for 3 courses will be Rupees 1200application fee for general category candidates

 

Cut off of CENTAC Exam:

The conducted authority will release the cut-off list within the merit list. The CENTAC exam cut-off will be the minimum marks required by the candidates to take admission in this exam. The marks will be calculated from the subjects such as Biology, Mathematics, and Physics, Computer Science, Technical Vocational Subjects, Biotechnology, Chemistry, as optional subjects.

 

Selection Process of CENTAC Exam:
The Selection process of CENTAC exam will be based on three stages:

  • Appear in the CENTAC Exam
  • Cut- Off list
  • Counseling Process

The authority will release the counseling process CENTAC exam for all candidates who will be eligible for the seat allotment on the behalf of the merit list. 

Applicants whose names are available in the merit list will be able to fill their colleges and branch to pay the counseling fee through online mode only. 

The counseling process of CENTAC exam will be completed through only an online mode centralized process in which seats will be allotted to the candidates for various parameters such as marks in the merit list, category, etc.
