Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch) is 5 years after MBBS degree or 3 years after MS degree. A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BV.Sc) is a Undergraduate degree. The duration of this course is five years. Masters of Veterinary Science or (MV.Sc) is a two year PG course which is dealing with marine medicine, research in anatomy, anatomical pathology, clinical pathology, bacteriology, pharmacology, wildlife conservation medicine, virology, parasitology, and morphological pathology. To pursue this degree, candidates should have a graduation degree like B.Sc. / B.V.Sc. or any other equivalent degree then they can apply for this course with at least 50% marks. The admission process for the MVSc Veterinary Medicine degree will be different for every college. Most institutes admit students by taking XII exam marks into consideration based on the merit list. While some institutes conduct an entrance examination for admitting students in MVSc Veterinary Medicine.
