Introduction

Anekant Institute Of Management Studies (AIMS) is one of the renowned private educational institutes in Baramati, Maharashtra. The institute was established in the year 2011 by the Anekant Educational Society, Pune. The society has many other educational institutions and its main objective is to promote formal education in the area at an affordable cost. All India council has approved AIMS for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The degree awarded is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

Admission

  1. Admission will be done in a transparent manner and strictly according to the Inter-Se-merit of the candidates who have applied to the institution.
  2. The Institution's information brochure or prospectus, which specifies the rules for admission, will be published well in advance of the commencement of the admission process.
  3. All the information in the brochures will also be displayed on the website of the institution.
  4. The institution shall invite applications by announcing the schedule of admissions and the number of seats to be filled by the institution by advertising in at least two leading newspapers and on the website of the institution.
  5. Aspiring candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria notified by the Government and specified by the competent authority from time to time shall apply to the Director of the Institute for admission at the Institute level.
  6. The Institute, as determined by the Competent Authority, will fill the NRI Quota seats on the basis of the merit list prepared and published by the Competent Authority.
  7. The Institute will admit applicants on the basis of their inter se merit derived from the CET-based merit list prepared as per the procedure laid down in Rule 8 (4) of the DTE Rules.
  8. The Institution shall prepare and display the Inter-Seit lists of candidates to be filled at the Institutional level, in the Institutional Quota with vacant seats after CAP, on the Notice Board and publish the same on the Institutional Website
  9. All entries and cancellations will be updated immediately through the online system.
  10. If any place within the CAP becomes vacant after the CAP rounds, it will be filled by a candidate from the same category for which it was reserved during the CAP. Further, if the seats remain vacant, the seats will be filled on the basis of the Inter-Se-Merit of the applicant.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission Confirmation: Download the application either from the institute website and submit it by sending a DD of Rs. 600,- only in favor of "Director, Anekant Institute of Management Studies, (AIMS)", payable at Baramati or collected through AIMS Administrative Office.

Refund of fees after cancellation of admission by institutions:

  1. The candidate applies online for cancellation and submits a signed copy of the system-generated request for cancellation of admission to the institution.
  2. On receipt of an application for cancellation of admission from the candidate, the institution shall immediately cancel the admission and through login, the institution shall generate an online confirmation of cancellation of admission and issue a signed copy to the candidate.
  3. Refund of fees before the final date of receipt will be made within two days i.e. total fee less processing charges of Rs. 1,000/- or the refund rule will be as directed by the concerned authorities or the State Government, as the case may be.
  4. If the admission is canceled after the cut-off date for admission announced by the competent authority, no amount will be refunded except the security deposit and any deposit.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF ANEKANT INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES (AIMS)

The eligibility criteria for UG programs is the student must have completed higher secondary studies from a recognized school with a minimum of 50 % marks.

The eligibility criteria for PG program is that the student must have graduated from a recognized university.

ON-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT PROCESS: With our AIMS networking, find vacancies from companies in various departments with "Job Description" in the month of March every year. The same is formulated by opening the selection committee meeting followed by a reminder of the pre-interview and post-interview process.

OFF-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT: Some vacancies are from either a consulting firm or odd-time firms. We conduct competency mapping as per the database requirements and shortlisted students will be notified to complete the process. And the whole process will be monitored by AIMS Center for Student Development (ACSD) with due coordination.
