Introduction

KIIT came into existence in the year 1992 as a training center with two employees and with few students. The college was established by Prof. Achyuta Samanta for benefit of the society. Presently the institute has a number of collaborations with best universities all over the world. This collaboration helps the students in various ways like internship, student exchange programme, conference, seminars and many more. KIIT has been awarded as Best University by both Europe Business Assembly and ASSOCHAM. It also has a status of category ‘A’ by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. NAAc has also accredited the institute with A grade.
