Introduction

Puducherry Technological University (PTU), is the main state Public specialized and exploration college of The Union Territory of Puducherry which has been established by overhauling Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC) with the endorsement of the University Grants Commission (India). The PTU was initiated by, Hon'ble Vice President of India, on 13.09.2021. The University was set up as a Government Funded Technical Institute(gfti's) in 1984 by The Ministry of Education(MoE), Government of India under the Seventh Five Year Plan to meet the prerequisite of a designing foundation in the Union Territory of Puducherry.

Nine UG and Thirteen PG programs in center designing disciplines other than MCA and Ph.D. programs in all designing disciplines and fundamental sciences are as of now presented in the college. The school appreciates critical independence for the organization.
