IGNOU Registration Last Date Extended up to 14th August

Good news for all the students who could not apply to IGNOU before 31st July as now you can apply till 14 august as IGNOU has extended the last date for registration. You can apply for all Undergraduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG), Certificate and Diploma courses. But this time, make sure you apply on time or it is recommended to apply before the deadline, so there will be no chance of forgetting to apply.

Follow these simple steps to register in IGNOU

To register on IGNOU website, follow these steps:

  • Go to IGNOU website and find the application area.
  • Click on "NEW REGISTRATION" to start the process.
  • Fill in your registration information such as your name and contact details.
  • Choose a username between 8 and 16 characters long.
  • Create a password that is also 8 to 16 characters long and contains both letters and numbers.
  • After entering all the required information, click Submit..
  • Your username will be sent to you by email and SMS. Don't forget to remember your username and password.
  • If you have already registered, just click "Sign In" instead.

ts as follows:

  • Include all scanned documents.
  • Please include a scanned signature with a file size of less than 100KB.
  • Upload a scanned image with a file size of less than 100KB.
  • If you belong to SC/ST/OBC category please attach a scanned copy of your certificate (file size should be less than 200KB).
  • Upload a scanned file of your educational qualifications and ensure that each file is less than 200KB.
  • If possible, reduce the file size to less than 200KB and include a scan of your experience certificate.

 

Everything about the registration fee, cancellation of the application and refund of the fee

Here is the refund policy:

  • Registration Fee: This fee is non-refundable.
  • Refund before confirmation: If you withdraw money before confirmation, the money will be refunded.
  • Cancellation after confirmation: Cancellation after confirmation will be charged 15% of the program fee, Rs. 2000, will be deducted.
  • Soft Copy Course Materials: For those who opt for Soft Copy materials, only the registration fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Student Fee Waiver: If you have a fee waiver and cancel it, only the promotion fee will be refunded.
  • No Refunds After 60 Days: No refunds will be made after 60 days have passed from the date the registration process was completed.

Registration fee

All students have to pay the registration fee which is Rs 300 and this fee is non-refundable. You will pay this additional fee along with the program fee for the first semester.

Make sure you apply on time and it is recommended that you check the fees and eligibility criteria on the official website of the university before applying to the university as it changes from time to time.
