The National Law Universities Consortium (NLU) has declared the exam date for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022. CLAT 2022 will be held on June 19, 2022. As per the notice, CLAT will be conducted in offline mode in the afternoon shift from 2 PM to 4 PM. CLAT 2022 admit card will be released soon on the official website. From the official website of the Consortium, the candidates will be able to download their admit cards.
CLAT UG exam will be for two hours. In these 2 hours, students will be asked 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which will be 150 marks, which means 1 mark for each question. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
CLAT PG exam will consist of 120 objective-type questions carrying 1 mark each. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The CLAT 2022 exam has been rescheduled which will be held on June 19 in 82 cities. The mode of the CLAT exam will be offline. The candidates need to carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof for the CLAT exam.
CLAT UG exam question paper will comprise questions from English Language, Current Affairs (General Knowledge), Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques in the exam.
CLAT PG questions will be asked from Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labor and Industrial Law, etc.
CLAT 2022 application form was released on January 1, 2021. The released application form is common for 5-year integrated and 1-year LLM programs. During the application filling process, the candidates can select the program. The minimum eligibility criteria for getting admission to the 5-year law program is that the candidate should be 12th passed out with a minimum of 45% marks.
Whereas, for the LLM program, the minimum requirement is a 3-year or 5-year LLB pass with a minimum of 50% marks.
The admit card for CLAT Consortium will be issued on the official website. All the candidates who have successfully registered for the CLAT exam can download the admit card by using details such as mobile number and password.
The CLAT answer key will be soon released by the Consortium after the exam is been conducted. Through the answer key, students will be able to cross-check their answers marked against each question. Candidates who have any doubt or objection against the given answer provided by the Consortium can challenge the provisional answer key in online mode on the official website.
CLAT 2022 result will be declared by the Consortium as per the schedule. The result will be announced online mode on the official website. CLAT 2022 result will be released in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can download their scorecards by logging in using their application number and password.
