Introduction

The University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences is known as UAHS. It is a state-level university that was founded in 2012. The university was founded by the Government of Karnataka under act no. 38, in 2012. The university's main objective is to offer quality human resources in various fields of agriculture horticulture & forestry. The UAHS university is affiliated with the ICAR. The university provides various courses such as Horticulture and Forestry, B.Sc. in Agriculture, Ph.D. in Agriculture, M.Sc. degree in various specializations, as well as Diploma courses in Agriculture.

Apart from this, the institute also offers lateral entry admission for diploma holders in B.Sc. degree programs offered by the University.

Admission

There are different modes available to fill theapplication form for different programs in UAHS.
Admission to an undergraduate program is done through Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority.
Admission to the post-graduate program is done through a common admission process across four Farm Universities in the state. The admission process involves a written entrance examination.
Ph.D. admissions are made through a written entrance examination separately by the University. Entrance to post matriculation diploma is done on the basis of SSLC marks.

Eligibility Criteria :

M. Sc	UAHS UG offers three years, B.Sc. program available in three specializations which are horticulture, agriculture, and forestry.
M. Sc	The min. eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Sc. course, students must have pass in Intermediate exam with PCB compulsory subjects, (required 50% PUC Marks plus 50% CET Marks).
B. Sc	UAHS also provides two-year M.Sc. program as a PG program. The program also offer various specializations.
B. Sc	The applicants who have completed their graduation degreein the relevant subjects are eligible for the program.
Ph. D.	Apart from this, the university also provides Ph.D. program to its students under college of agriculture.
Ph. D.	Applicants who completed their graduation degreefrom the recognized university will eligible for the Ph.D. program.
B. Sc (Ag.)	UAHS also provides two-year M.Sc. program as a PG program. The program also offer various specializations.
B. Sc (Ag.)	The applicants who have completed their graduation degreein the relevant subjects are eligible for the program.
