Admission

Follow the given online and offline procedure for Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh:-

Documents Required:

  • Mark sheet and passing certificate of both the 10 and 12th standard
  • Registration slip
  • Transfer certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Migration certificate
  • Medical certificate
  • Caste certificate
  • Passport size photo
  • Aadhar card
  • Income Certificate

 

Online Method of Registration 

  • The aspirants who want to get admission to the institute need to visit the official website of the college  
  • Go to the admission page where the candidate needs to click on the “Application form”
  • Now you need to click on “Please fill the form - Link”
  • Fill up all the details carefully mentioned in the form 
  • Now the candidates need to click on submit
  • The candidates need to pay the application online via Net banking/ Credit card/ Debit card.
  • Now print out the application form.

 

Offline Method of Registration

  • The aspirants need to go to the official website of the institute
  • Now, the candidates need to download the application form from the website
  • Now the aspirants can start filling the application form with all the required credentials carefully
  • The candidate needs to attach all the required documents carefully with the application form
  • Now the candidates have to pay the application fee via offline mode by Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh”.
  • At last, submit the hard copy of the duly filled application form via Speed post or registered postal address

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Course Eligibility
MD The applicants should be graduated with the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree or any equivalent that should be recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Masters in Hospital Administration The aspirants should be graduated with the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree, or any other Bachelor’s degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Masters in Public Health
MS The applicants should be graduated with the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree or any equivalent that should be recognized by the Medical Council of India.
DM The applicants should be graduated with MD Psychiatry/ MD Anesthesia/ MD Medical/ MD Pediatrics/ MD Pharmacology/ MD Pathology/ MD Radiodiagnosis or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Master of Chirurgiae (MCH) The aspirants should be graduated with the MS Surgery, MS/MD Ophthalmology, MS Otorhinolaryngol, Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS) degree, or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Ph.D The aspirants should be graduated with the MS/ MD Degree or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Post MD Certificate The candidate should be graduated with the MD(Pathology)) Degree or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Paramedical Courses (UG) The aspirants should be 12th passed out in science stream with Biology or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Paramedical Courses (PG) The aspirants should be graduated with a bachelor’s degree in paramedical courses or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
B. Sc. Nursing The applicants should be 12th passed out in science stream with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
B. Sc. Nursing (Post Basic)
M. Sc. Nursing The aspirants should be graduated with a B.Sc Nursing degree or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Phd in Nursing (Part-time) The applicants should be graduated with an M.Sc Nursing degree or any equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
