Introduction

Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) is a premier public engineering college located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The college was established in the year 1947 and is considered among the oldest engineering institutes in India. The technical courses offered by the college are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is the first institute in India to offer Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering as a subject. The institute was granted the status of ‘Autonomous Status’ by the University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi. It is also a regional and research center of Rajiv Gandhi Technical University.
