About (WBJEE)

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) is a state level entrance exam conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admissions to various B.E., B. Tech., B. Arch, B. Pharma courses offered at different Government and self-financed institute in West Bengal. 

Eligibility and Age Criteria of (WBJEE)

•    Lower age limit is 17 years as on December 31, 2019 and there is no upper age limit
•    For marine engineering, upper age limit is 25 years
•    Candidates who have passed their 10+2 level exams or its equivalent from a recognized board or are appearing 12th exam in 2020 can apply
•    For B. Tech. and B.E., candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% (SC/ST/OBC/PwD a minimum of 40%) in physics, mathematics and chemistry/biology/biotechnology/computer science/ computer application
•    For B. Pharma, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in physics, chemistry and biology/mathematics/biotechnology/computer science/computer application
•    Candidates must have passed in English with a minimum of 30%  

Application Process (WBJEE)

•    Candidates can apply through online mode of application
•    For online application, candidates have to 1st register their names by visiting the official website of WBJEE
•    Then candidate has to fill the complete application, submit it along with the payment of prescribed fees though 

Application Fees(WBJEE)

Online application fee of INR 500 can be paid through Net banking/Debit card/Credit card/Paytm or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan.

Category 1 – 1 mark each

Negative marking
Category 1 – ¼ marks on every wrong answer
Category 2 – ½ marks on every wrong answer
Category 3 – Combination of 1 or more incorrect answer will be 0 and for partially correct answer = 2X (no of correct options marked)/ (total no of actually correct options)

Exam Centers

WBJEE will be conducted in all districts of West Bengal and 2 centers outside West Bengal i.e. Agartala (Tripura) and Silchar (Assam).
