Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2020-2021


Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an computer based national level admission test conducted by BITS, Pilani for admission to its integrated first degree programs offered by all its three campuses at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. BITS Pilani offers various engineering and technology programs along with some professional courses. 

Eligibility Criteria BITSAT

  • Candidates must have minimum 60% marks in their 12th grade
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized institution
  • Candidates appearing for the 12th examination can also apply for the test
  • For admission in B.E. (Hons.), M.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. (Tech.) programs, candidate must have physics, chemistry and mathematics as their main subjects
  • A minimum aggregate of 75% is required in physics, chemistry and mathematics 
  • For admission in B.Pharm. (Hons.), candidates must have physics, chemistry and biology as their main subjects and a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the mentioned subjects
  • State and Central Board toppers securing 1st rank in class 12th board can get direct admission to the programs of their choice irrespective of their BITSAT scores secured and if they fulfill the eligibility criteria of BITSAT

Application Fees BITSAT

Application fee for male candidates is Rs.3150/- and for female candidates is Rs.2650/-. Candidate choosing Dubai as the test center will have to pay US $80 (approx. Rs.5600/-) for both male and female candidates.

BITSAT Application and Slot Booking 

•    Candidates interested for applying should 1st register their names through the online application form present in the official website
•    Then candidate has to fill the complete application, submit it along with the payment of prescribed fees 
•    Further candidates has to select their desired test center and the time slot for the exam through the slot booking process
•    It is offered on first come first serve and for the candidates, who does not book a slot, will be given slots by the
