Admission

The Assam University has followed some criteria to offer admission in different courses:

  • Aspiring applicants can fill out the application form of Assam University online mode before the last date
  • In B. Tech the admission will be done in two ways
  • 75% admission will be done JEE Mains results
  • 25% admission will be done through the conducted exam by the department
  • To get admission into the UG program, applicants must have to complete an intermediate exam from the recognized board
  • GATE score will be considered to get admission into M. Tech
  • An MBA degree, the admission will be done through CAT scores
  • To get admission into the PG program, applicants must have to complete Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university

 

Documents required while filling the application form

  • Mark sheet of High school and Intermediate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • ID card
  • (CC) Character certificate
  • Graduation degree for PG courses
  • Valid Date of Birth Proof
  • 2 or 3 Passport size photo
  • (TC) Transfer Certificate
  • Nationality Certificate

MSW Should have graduation degree from recognized university in relevant discipline
MA in Philosophy/ Urdu Should have graduation degree from recognized university in relevant discipline
MVA Should have graduation degree from recognized university in relevant discipline
M. Tech Should have B. Tech degree in relevant subjects
MBA Should have graduation degree from recognized university in relevant discipline
B.Sc + B.Ed Should have intermediate in Science stream with 50% marks
PGDM Graduation with 50% marks plus CAT exam score
